ABSTRACT

The year 2007 was extraordinary for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in Ohio. That year, the state's elected officials made an unprecedented commitment of more than $200 million in state funding to support an array of cohesive STEM education policies, spanning the state's pre-K-20 education continuum (Ohio Business Alliance for Higher Education & the Economy, 2007).
