ABSTRACT
Museums exist as varied collections of culturally valued and valuable objects. There are historic houses, buildings, restoration villages, and ships, as well as science and technology museums, discovery centers, art museums, sports and popular culture museums, natural history and ethnography museums, and children’s museums. Also considered as “museums” are planetariums, botanical gardens, arboretums, wildlife conservation centers, zoos, and aquariums.
