ABSTRACT

A computer network is a group of computers connected together wire-lessly or by wires. The Programmes of Study specify that children need to understand computer networks, including the internet; how they can provide multiple services, such as the World Wide Web, and the opportunities they offer for communication and collaboration. Search engines provides an excellent foundation for learning about data transmission between digital computers over networks, including an introduction to binary, internet protocol (IP), Packet Switching, and how computers transfer data in binary. Web crawler also known as a web spider, these are used by search engines. Venn diagrams comprise two or more overlapping circles, which will be the case for our internet searches. To help the children to grasp the ideas, you can perform a human internet activity. On completing these activities with a digital literacy focus, children develop an understanding of both how the internet is structured and how the Google Page Rank works.
