ABSTRACT
On reading the chapters in this collection, one can’t help but be impressed by the variety of case studies, the wealth of theoretical perspectives and the richness of the empirical material. Yet studio studies is still in its infancy – there is still work to be done in delimiting its scope and demarcating its domain. The work presented here collectively suggests a number of avenues, and in this essay I pick up on some these in an attempt to draw out a number of themes that seem to me to be particularly interesting to pursue.
