ABSTRACT

This chapter is a sequence of three turn*s, micro-essays about the KAIA project. A turn* is a written edit/extension of a turn in a conversation. The problem with conversations is you often don’t get a chance to say all that pops into your head before your partner just walks away in boredom (or in shock – such long turns are not allowed in polite conversation). Nor do you get to “edit” what you said a few turns before, even if a much better formulation occurs to you.
