ABSTRACT
We are pleased to introduce the inaugural volume of the World Education Research Yearbook. This is the first in a series of volumes undertaken by the World Education Research Association (WERA). The purpose of this new annual is to present—as exemplars of education research with a worldwide perspective—a collection of the strongest research papers considered and disseminated by WERA.
