ABSTRACT

Tetranormalization refers to a universal issu e that affects citizens and encompasses the businesses and institutions’ lives and futures. It emphasizes the confusing subjectivity of norms and standards in relation to actors and territories. Tetranormalization offers an interpretative framework of the economic, social and ecological environment, so that decision makers and stakeholders can wade through the maze, the constellation and the relentlessly crashing rain of norms and standards. Tetranormalization also refers to an extensive research program developed by an open international network whose pivot is located in France.
