ABSTRACT
First, this chapter will delineate the existence and extent of energy poverty, and how the lack of beneficial energy prevents and negates development. Second, it offers a definition of justice that applies to international societies and institutions. Finally, this chapter will argue that global justice enjoins that energy poverty should be addressed through affordable sustainable energy technologies (ASETs).
