ABSTRACT

Educating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in mainstream schools places them at very high risk of experiencing bullying. Bullying prevention initiatives tailored for children with ASD are in the very early stages of development. Programs need to be targeted at students with ASD and the broader school community, and should consider the experiences of parents of children with ASD, who may also experience bullying. A recently produced video resource package to support interventions is described.
