ABSTRACT

Parenting education has long been validated and deemed important, but what does the future hold for the field? What current trends will continue? What new trends might we see in the future? Making such predictions is challenging because the future direction will reflect not only current professional, societal, scientific, political, and fiscal perspectives but also ways in which these perspectives will evolve and change over time. The predictions regarding anticipated trends in parenting education that are expressed in this chapter reflect opinions predicated on these various perspectives.
