ABSTRACT
Evidence-based Parenting Education: A Global Perspective offers a comprehensive overview of the foundations of evidence-based parenting education as well as a review of many of the most significant programs available globally. Early chapters recommended steps for designing evidence-based parenting education. These steps include developing a vision, assessing the needs of the target audience, identifying theoretical bases for content, determining goals and specific learning outcomes, and planning the assessment of effectiveness. The importance of choosing an implementation framework and evaluating implementation strategies is discussed. Finally, program fidelity, one of the most complex but important implementation outcomes, is briefly described.
