ABSTRACT
In this chapter I consider the ways in which attempts to achieve sustainable agriculture pose significant ethical concerns, in both developing and industrial country contexts. To be sustainable, agriculture must incorporate social and economic justice, not only ecological viability. Examining the ethics of farming methods, labor, and local food illustrates this broader sense
