ABSTRACT
Journalistic ethics and performance outside Western countries continues to draw signicant attention. The globalization of academic publication in past decades has made available a substantial body of English-language scholarship about these subjects in the global South. A rich set of ndings and arguments gives us new insights to revisit the relationship between professed journalistic values and journalistic role performance.
