ABSTRACT
When I was invited to prepare a Commentary on this paper, I confess to being delighted but at the same slightly concerned about how to undertake this task and its outcome. Questions began to form in my mind.
What is (or should be) the purpose of a Commentary?
How should I engage with the paper?
How may I contribute to the debate on ‘accounting education for sustainability’?
