ABSTRACT

Most of us believe that online education is far less accommodating and flexible than on-campus classes. From childhood, we know that classrooms bring us faceto-face with other students and our teachers, giving us direct access to how they look, what they say, how they think, and how we feel about them. Sitting at desks or moving about, our bodies and minds inhabit the classroom, often with the same ease and familiarity we find at home. Most of us assume it’s the ideal learning environment.
