ABSTRACT

The recent economic crisis has turned out to be one of the most severe of the last decades. The costs are already significant across most European countries and are illustrated both in the strong negative impact on economic activity, but also in unemployment. Furthermore, economic recovery at least at the beginning of 2015 seems to be rather weak, indicating that new challenges have emerged at the policy level, especially in terms of entrepreneurship policies. The importance of entrepreneurship in creating new jobs and economic growth seems to be even more crucial today in order to restore growth.
