ABSTRACT
The terms “design thinking” and “evidence-based design” are all well known in the literature. This chapter addresses architectural research with these terms, as a function of cognition, in mind. There is increasing recognition in the design fields that intuitive design activity is aided by cognitive processes. This chapter addresses ways in which this linkage holds true.
