ABSTRACT
Studies of attempts to resolve international conflicts have observed that in many cases conflict endings are temporary, and a new round of violence eventually erupts again (Kreutz, 2010). This has raised the question whether it is possible to develop preventive measures that could reduce the likelihood that a previous conflict will be revived.
