ABSTRACT

The purposes of this chapter is radical openness allows for a philosophical enunciation. Overall it is a territorial assemblage with lines of flight carrying and moving concepts on a plane of immanence. It is an experiment of sorts in Deleuzeguattarian terms not as intense, as systemic, as extensive, as their plateaus in A Thousand Plateaus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia. It is principally the latter, an enunciation which includes discourses, meanings, and relations of signifiers, although a case can easily be made that it connects in concrete ways to readers and to intellectual traditions that entail specific practices of empirical inquiry. Popkewitz's concept in particular concerns John Dewey and his adaptations for education and especially for institutions and practices of schooling underpinned by systems of reason. That a line of flight has not turned to education itself is a limitation of this plateau sketch.
