ABSTRACT

In this study the interrelation between language and action organization is explored. Is there a correlation between the speech structures of a person and her tendencies in action regulation? This question touches classical topics which are positioned at the intersection of linguistics and psychology: the question of language and thought as well as interrelation between language and personality. The study aims at generating new hypotheses since rarely theoretical ideas exist at the moment which focus on an interdisciplinary approach. Due to this and to the complexity of the two fields (language and action organization) only little subjects are analysed rather deeply in order to explore the basic interrelations and put them into a theoretical model.
