ABSTRACT

There has been a long discussion concerning the missing link between biomechanics and other fields of motor research (e.g. Rosenbaum, 1991). When looking at sports training it seems obvious that athletes try to optimise their movement behaviour in order to archive differentiated (biomechanical) goals (e.g. maximization of jumping height, etc.). The question may arise how such biomechanical events are connected to movement organization.
