ABSTRACT
For millennia, human beings have used language to facilitate the creation of increasingly sophisticated technology. Language has allowed the creation of medicines to combat disease and prolong life, houses to provide protection from the elements, and the invention of a nearly countless variety of machines that work to make our lives easier.
