When Adolph Hitler began his European rampage, his first targets were queers. When Hitler went after the Jews, he murdered people with the tiniest percentage of Jewish blood. Solomonic arguments didn’t work; you couldn’t say “just kill the quarter of me that’s Jewish and let the other three-quarters live.”
