ABSTRACT
A worm-hole first appears in the text space on f. 403: on the recto it is just below the word 'loved' in line 15. It gets bigger gradually, but includes whole letters only in a few places .... Another worm-hole begins on f. 474. This one gets bigger rapidly and makes lines 13-15 on the last few leaves partly illegible. (The Winchester Malory ix)
