ABSTRACT
Problem solving has received much attention in the past years and younger children are beginning to be seriously involved in it. Problem posing is beginning to receive attention and it, too, can begin in the earlier years. Furthermore, if we encourage students to engage in problem posing, we can involve them more deeply in the development of topics that we wish to cover; in fact, we can use problem posing to help students uncover mathematics.
