ABSTRACT

The primary goal of the Tennessee demonstration project was to strengthen and expand a coordinated approach to casework supervision of frontline CPS caseworkers by developing and implementing a series of comprehensive, culturally sensitive learning labs modules that will increase the effectiveness of frontline supervision and improve client outcomes (Jones, Alexander, & Patterson, 2004). This paper focuses on the external variables that impacted the development and implementation of the Tennessee Project. It further offers strategies that may be useful in addressing these variables. doi:10.1300/J394v04n03_09 [Article copies available for a fee from The Haworth Document Delivery Service: 1-800-HAWORTH.
