ABSTRACT

When converting a traditionally taught classroom course to a web-based environment, you must take a number of issues and considerations into account. This paper addresses the process of design and conversion, including computer mediated communication as a form of distance education, the advantages and limitations of the technology, methods of addressing learning styles and insuring interaction with students, as well as examples of teaching an online asynchronous course.
