ABSTRACT

Tracking the access to electronic journals is a critical concern for libraries as dependence on their access is demanded by library patrons, and an increasing portion of library budgets are used to purchase the materials. This session provided details of a system developed at Florida Atlantic University to manage electronic journals. The presenter provided statistics, documented access problems, developed a schematic of electronic journal check-in workflow, and developed an e-journal’ check-in process for her institution. doi:10.1300/J123v52n03_05 [Article copies available for a fee from The Haworth Document Delivery Service: 1-800-HAWORTH.
