ABSTRACT

The two presenters for this NASIG Tactics Session provided general observations about publishing costs, comparing and distinguishing between editorial, print and online costs and between fixed and variable costs. Both addressed the varying expectations and myths surrounding the transition from print to online by discussing the realities of their specific operations.
