ABSTRACT
The last position has its special opportunities and hazards. It is akin to being last in a line of ice skaters doing Crack the Whip; the challenge is to tie the chapters together as a whole. For me, the answer to this challenge lies in the construction of some meanings for the consideration of the three themes which seem to emerge from this volume—interdisciplinary, community, and prevention.
