ABSTRACT

Arnold Lazarus is Distinguished Professor at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. Dr. Lazarus serves on the editorial boards of nine professional journals. He also has served as president of the Association for Advancement of Behavior Therapy; he is a recipient of the Distinguished Service to the Profession of Psychology Award from the American Board of Professional Psychology, and the Distinguished Psychologist Award from the Division of Psychotherapy of the American Psychological Association. He received a PhD. degree in 1960 from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Lazarus has written, coauthored, edited, or coedited 14 books, and has written and been the coauthor of more than 200 professional papers and chapters. He has had 24 editorial appointments from professional journals.
