ABSTRACT
The classification of Sheehan and Sheehan (1982a, 1982b), based on clinical experience, analyzes the genetic, behavioral, pharmacological, and psychophysiological characteristics of anxiety patients. Two groups are considered to be fundamental: (a) the group who responds well to behavior therapy and psychotherapy and (b) the group who also requires pharmacotherapy.
