ABSTRACT

This chapter investigates and understands the current role and impact of the business model used by lifestyle entrepreneurs through the lens of soteriology. It introduces a brief review of the literature on lifestyle entrepreneurship, building taxonomy of lifestyle entrepreneurs. From a traditional economic perspective, the key aspiration for entrepreneurs is to generate employment and profit for themselves. Wagner and Ziltener claim that lifestyle entrepreneurs "build and manage their business in a manner that reflects their particular personality traits, human capital resources and prior experience gained within a particular local environment". Shaw and Williams identify the tourism and hospitality sector as one area in which lifestyle entrepreneurs abound in the form of B&Bs, one- or two-star inns, guest houses, local restaurants offering locally produced food, farm shops and arts and crafts shops. The millionairess method requires courage. Although the millionairess method has no sexual undertones, the Goddess School, which is linked through the website, is full of them.
