ABSTRACT
In recent years, proactivity has become an increasingly important foundation of safety at work. As technological and organizational environments become more unpredictable and change occurs more rapidly, standardized procedures and compliant behaviors with prescribed safety procedures and regulations put in place by organizations might be insucient for ensuring safe operations. Therefore, there is now increasing attention from researchers and practitioners who focus on how individuals, teams, and organizations can manage safety more proactively.
