ABSTRACT
Imagine the following simple experiment: On each trial, you will be shown a string of eight letters on a display monitor. Each string will appear for about 100 ms and will be centered on a row in the middle of the monitor. The letters themselves will be presented with good contrast to the background and will appear as if they had been typed. Your task is to report as many letters as possible.
