ABSTRACT

The enlistment of residential/family and vocational/day program support is critical in'reinforcing the group treatment of the participants. Considerable psychological treatment was rendered through Group psychological Group Process in concert with the Educator's goals. Treatment elements consisted of: individual therapy and individual education in sexuality, culturally appropriate social skills, and assertiveness; Group Therapy that combined education and therapy; coordination therapy and educational services with family or care providers through in-home services and on-site consultation with Day Program/Vocational Training agency staff.
