This speech was the final address given at the town meeting called by the Gay and Lesbian Anti-Defamation League (subsequently renamed the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) at the Metropolitan Duane Methodist Church in Greenwich Village, with over 700 in attendance.
