ABSTRACT
The case ofBowers v. Hardwickwas resolved in June 1986 with a decision rendered by the U.S. Supreme Court that upheld the constitutionality of the sodomy law of the state of Georgia, effectively denying gays and lesbians privacy even in their own bedrooms.
