ABSTRACT
This speech was delivered in 1972 at the New Democratic Party Waffle Convention in Hamilton, Ontario. A note accompanying the text states that “This is the first time a gay liberation representative has addressed a political party conference.” Moldenhauer was one of the two coordinators of the editorial collective in Toronto that produced Canada's popular gay newspaper, The Body Politic.
