ABSTRACT
Treatment intensity reflects the integration of treatment duration with the frequency and timing of treatment visits. In this chapter, special attention will be given to the indicators for time-limited treatments and to those conditions that indicate variations in the frequency and spacing of treatments. We will end this chapter with a rarely discussed topic: the conditions under which one might select a treatment of zero duration and frequency—that is, the indicators for not treating a given patient.
