ABSTRACT
The invitation to submit a piece for this book came just before I went into a session. The family I saw was having a lot of trouble with their son Ted, seventeen. He was just expelled from school for skipping and had been drinking on weekends with his friends even though he is diabetic. He quit his job a week ago. Since then he has been sleeping in his car out behind a friend's house because "everyone gets on my case at home."
