ABSTRACT
The eight demonstrations described in Part III of this monograph represent a subset of some of the better known long term care demonstrations which have been operating long enough to have some data but are recent enough so that key staff in the demonstration are still available. Before focusing on these projects to compare their characteristics and outcomes, it is important to acknowledge and describe, albeit briefly, some of the other community-based long term care demonstrations that could not be included in this monograph.
