ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a synopsis of current thinking among experienced professionals about current and future applications of naturalistic decision making (NDM) to health care. These researchers brought both clinical experience and applied research to their consideration of the topic at the 1994 conference on Naturalistic Decision Making: David Gaba, MD; Colin Mackenzie, MD; Patricia Martin, RN, PhD; David Woods, PhD; and the present author (a PhD).
