In this chapter, agreement is expressed with Berkowitz’s analysis in five areas:
Emotions are complex.
Emotions involve both psychological and physiological factors.
Pain and distress generate anger.
The emotion mechanism is multilevel.
One level of the emotion processing system is network-like in structure.
