ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to investigate the relationship between three different types of parents as defined by their ideas about child development and education, and their educational behavior towards their children, as well as to analyze the relations between those two domains (parents’ ideas, parents’ educational behavior) and developmental outcomes in the child.
