ABSTRACT
There is a man in Memphis, Tennessee, who is known to slash innocent people with a sharp instrument while they are unconscious. He has openly engaged in this brutal behavior for many years. Not only do the legal authorities know of his activities, they encourage and condone his efforts. He is affluent and an honored man in the community. Victims of his knifings willingly accede to his wishes and in fact are thankful and appreciative.
