ABSTRACT
Long-term potentiation (LTP) is an interesting example of long-lasting synaptic plasticity. Because of its long duration and short induction period, using physiological stimulus ranges (Bliss & Lømo, 1973), it has attracted considerable interest as a possible model for cellular changes associated with learning and memory.
