Interactionism Revisited: A Discussion of “On the Role of Situations in Personality Research”

The two prime tasks for an interactional psychology of personality are: (a) the description, classification, and systematic analyses of stimuli, situations and environments; and (b) the investigation of how persons and situations interact in evoking behavior, and the reciprocal interaction of persons and behavior, persons and situations, and situations and behavior.
