ABSTRACT

The Centre de psychothércipie stratégique in Montréal offers a two-year training course comprised of nine classroom days per year to mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, physicians, and guidance counselors. Some participants bring much experience to the proceedings, while others come with relatively little. However, all participants generally seek to acquire a more effective and efficient intervention model that allows them to better respond to the needs of their clients within their particular time constraints, thereby achieving greater job satisfaction.
