ABSTRACT

This article presents a way of helping social work practice trainees learn solution-oriented ways of relating with their practice setting agencies. The author describes a process whereby students learn basic principles by applying them to the difficulties they face in their practice settings that often are more problem-focused. By sharing success stories with each other, trainees learn more about the process of solution-focused therapy and ways to work within their practice sites.
